It is one of the largest and most successful hedge funds in the world, with assets under management of over $160 billion. The firm is known for its unconventional management style and its principles-based approach to investing and business. Bridgewater Associates uses a combination of fundamental and quantitative analysis to make investment decisions, and has been a pioneer in the use of computer-based quantitative investing techniques. The firm is headquartered in Westport, Connecticut.
